The school library is a well-resourced, busy hub of teaching and learning. Our welcoming, comfortable, flexible learning environment means students can be found completing homework, working on tasks, studying quietly, reading books or playing a variety of board games from 8 am every day.

Our collection is current, relevant and encompasses print, digital and online resources that reflect the 21st Century student's learning needs. Students also have access to eBooks and audio books via the Oliver library link the DoE portal or by downloading the ePlatform app by 'Wheelers' on their smartphones or tablets. WHS has recently subscribed to ClickView, which supplies a vast amount of educational content in video form for staff and students, and gives students access to a variety of movies and TV series. This too can be accessed through the Oliver Library link.

Students and teachers regularly use the physical library space for class tasks, as well as their own research and creative projects. A flexible space, the Library has two separate teaching areas, a new Senior Study area and two dedicated Seminar rooms, thus simultaneously catering for class groups and quiet study. Plenty of comfortable space allows students to relax and make use of all the library resources.
