The development of good school tone, and the prestige of the school in the community, have an important influence on your child's future.
Wearing the school uniform helps students feel part of a purposeful social group. They are entitled through wearing it, to display pride in their school, its achievements and what it represents. The wearing of the uniform encourages a sense of unity and pride in cooperative endeavour. You can help us make these qualities as high as possible by providing the correct uniform and ensuring the cooperation of your child with dress and specialist lesson requirements.
Our Uniform is available from Lowes, Miranda and Claudine Schoolwear, Caringbah
- Open sandals, thongs, gym boots and sandshoes are NOT part of the school uniform.
- For safety reasons the NSW Department of Education does not permit students to carry out practical work in specialist rooms unless the student is wearing protective leather footwear.
- Students should not wear excessive make-up, or jewellery. For safety reasons students are not to have face studs. This is a Work, Health & Safety requirement.
Please ensure each piece of your child's school uniform is labelled with their name. Labelled lost clothing is returned to the student. Tip for jumpers – write your surname on the back of the crest.
NB. The wearing of correct school uniform is checked daily. If there is a good reason for a student being out of uniform, a note should be brought from home stating the reason and the length of time involved. This note is to be signed by the Principal, Deputy Principals or Head Teachers and carried at all times by the student.
