All students are encouraged to take initiative and develop responsibilities at our school and within the community at large. They are also provided with many opportunities for meaningful involvement to participate in leadership programs across all year levels.
Student Leadership Executive
This consists of Year 12 students who are elected to the positions by their peers. They are 2 school captains, 2 vice captains and 2 SRC presidents.
The Student Representative Council
This consists of students from across the school. This group supports initiatives like The Worlds Greatest Shave, Red Shield Appeal, and fund raising for our School of St Jude's foster child. They have recently bought water coolers that have been installed in 3 blocks. They run Unity Day each year which sees them swimming against the Gunamatta Greys and supporting a strong community link.
Arana, Bukari, Camira, Duwari
We have 8 House Leaders, one female and one male for each House Team.
Peer Support
This program allows for leadership experience for Year 10 students who mentor Year 7 students.
External Programs
Our students have been successful in gaining recognition in external Leadership programs, such as 'Secretary for a Day' and 'Zonta Young Woman in Public Affairs'.
